I've been spinning away and have tried Navajo plying. Below are a few photos of recent yarns. Those on top are Navajo plied, the first two without pinching the twist (unintentional but I love the nubby texture of them anyway)-left to right: silk batt, Brown Sheep Wool, handpainted roving. All on bottom are 2ply-left to right: silk batt, tussah silk, handpainted roving.

We had planned to spend the holiday weekend in Jemez or Chama but the recent snow storms kept us close to home. Instead we spent an afternoon in Old Town.

Thanks for visiting!
